NO ADDITIVES.
CLEAN VODKA.
Spoiler Alert:
Artificial additives are extremely common in most vodkas.
Vodka’s a neutral spirit. That’s why it mixes so well with damn near everything: Soda. OJ. Ginger beer. Pickle brine (a personal favorite). Red Bull! Choose your own adventure.
So why would it need chemical additives?
It’s a big secret in spirit production that Mass Market Vodkas – including many top-shelf brands – contain additives to *optimize* taste and viscosity. U.S. vodka laws permit producers to add up to 2.5% by volume of any additive that’s generally deemed safe. Vodka makers include them as a way to formulate greater mouthfeel and smoothness.
Take the vodka.
Leave the chemicals.
Valentine Vodka is measurably, scientifically purer than the name brand vodkas we tested at our distillery.
It’s 100% natural. What you see is what you get.
It contains no glycerol, limonine, or any other chemical additives for that matter.
We make it using the traditional process European and Russian vodka distillers have used for centuries. The outcome?
Pure vodka. No additives. No chemicals. No gluten. No BS.
Here’s how our vodka’s made:
-
Mash and ferment grains. Distill to at least 95% abv / 190 proof, the legal limit to be considered vodka (ours is actually to 96% abv / 192 proof).
-
Filter with activated carbon to remove even more undesirable flavor components. Instead of coal based activated carbon, we use activated carbon made from coconut shells – it gives our vodka a smoother flavor and it’s more sustainable than conventional activated carbon.
-
Add reverse osmosis water, which is 99.9% H2O.
The lesson?
Less is more, and quality is everything.
In addition to our Signature Vodka, our elderflower-flavored White Blossom Vodka has a floral, award-winning tasting profile. It achieves that flavor with all-natural flavors and no corn syrup – instead, we use pure beet sugar, a less refined sweetener.
Even better, White Blossom is one of the lowest-calorie flavored vodkas money can buy with 20% fewer calories and 20% fewer carbs than leading flavored vodkas.
